Meatcube
So one of my colleagues at work had brought in a packet of sweets snacks stuff edibles meatcubes.
"You eat beef right?" the girl behind the bar asked
"yeah" i hesitantly replied.
"try some of these." she says ,as she hands me these little wrapped things. It looks like some sort of candy or chocolate
I open it up. . .
A summary of what you see before you would go something like so...
Someone got a lump of beef , cooked it for a billion hours , put it through some sort of paper shredder to turn into bits and then compressed it back together using some sort of technique similar to the thwomps 'UUHGGGHGHHGH' slam.
It is a cube of meat.

5x Magnification.
HOLY SHIT I CAN SEE THE PORES ON MY FACE.
WHAT ARE THOSE HAIRS DOING GROWING ON MY CHEEK , GET TAE FUCK OFF.
On the flipside , at least my goatee looks more than it actually is in the mirror.
...i can also see some extreme detail on my nipples. Including an alarming quantity of hair coming from my right one.

So uh... weird day at work the other day (saturday).
Along with a new guy- who looks suspiciously like 'Tanaka Hajime' from Ouendan

Longstory short , mr Boss Boss is this guy (below)
Only difference i noticed is that Mr boss boss seemed more bound by physics but thats a minor detail.

Neopezzle
So apparently 5 years ago i was a neopet monster because i have all this stuffs which i can only imagine took me ages to get.
After logging in i thought id take some screenshots to show you guys some of the awesomeness which i found inside.
If i remember right i had to change my main neopet from the green tiger to the meekra because my tiger got the digital form of aids and the cure was only able to be purchased for some obscene amount of neopoints (i think it needed like 100k , fuck that.)
Worth noting that i think my pets are a tidge hungry :<

in other blogish news. i FINALLY beat 100 sec kitchen battle on Hyper on Pop n Music.
This has pretty much been my life goal ever since i saw a 'crazy japanese guy plays music game' video on ebaumsworld about 4 years ago.
So 4 years later ,multiple blisters and 1 broken dualshock controller , i have finally beaten this song - by 1 life bar i might add (one miss and i would'nt have made it).

Balls Of Fury
So i just finished watching the film 'Balls of Fury' and whilst its not a film which will be winning any awards any time soon , is still a great comedy flick. The jist of the story (which could have been thought up by a kid with downs syndrome i might add) is an ex-ping pong prodigy has to infiltrate an elite ping pong tournament with the help of black FBI agent to stop a large scale arms dealing operation.
Im very unsure as to whether or not the film was actually funny or not , as it seemed to me that a majority of the times i was laughing out loud were the bits which werent intended to be THAT funny , further backed up by the poorly scripted lines which are occasionally used to try and be funny but generally end up failing completely.
The film then transitions from comedy to james bond style action flick at around the 2/3 mark where all the characters and their grandma suddenly start weilding SMG's like its the normal thing to do , this was rather weird and didn't add to the story or enjoyment factor of the film much but rather some sort of way for the producers to spend more money on special effects - as generally speaking , ping pong holds very little potential for special effects other than matrix style camera shifts and slow motion.
All in all though the film is genuinely entertaining and funny and well worth a watch - if only for the scene with the fly swatter (which will make sense once you've seen it.)

Guitar Queer-o
So i recently bought 'obtained' guitar hero 3 for PC, I don't have a guitar of any sort but i thought id give it a go anyway for a laugh.
The game's default control system for PC is (for the frets)Shift , | , Z , X ,C ,V and for the strum bar - Mouse 1 , mouse 2 , scroll wheel. Spacebar is star power and i think alt is whammy. Pretty F'd up controls.
So i went into the controls and edited them to the frets on fire style - being the F1-F5 keys for the frets and enter for strumming , enter wouldnt work as the game has that prebound to advancing menus and stuff , so i put it onto insert, starpower on print screen and home as whammy.
By doing this i can play with the guitar upside down. However... a problem soon unfolded before me.
My keyboard Refuses to do F2 + F3 + another button , that being when a chord comes along which is F2 + F3 the keyboard wont respond to my 'strumming' which ends up in misses and on some songs - failure.
Okay then. im a genius guy , i can work this out... So i thought.
I pulled out my USB laptop mouse and plugged it in (its pretty small). I changed the controls to mouse 1 for strumming , now to play i use my left hand for frets and my right hand holding the USB mouse against the keyboard (mouse2 is for starpower incase you're wondering - and mouse movement is whammy, which actually works kinda well). This is all well and good , i can hit those F2+F3 notes now because the mouse is a seperate input from the keyboard. I can actually play now.
Unfortunately when i tried playing Expert mode earlier GH is trying to be a pioneer and introduce 3 fret chords , primarily consisting of F1+F2+F3 it would seem , which my keyboard again won't support. Great. I guess ill steal that 90's guy's geetar at some point, he should be playing beatmania instead of silly guitar games anyway.

offtopic : Changed my wallpaper background today , its the Elite Beat Diva's from Elite beat Agents on DS!

In other news , my headset and sound card arrived today. I personally didn't see a huge boost in audio quality from the sound card , the headset was definately a worthy investment though.
